This interchange center will connect two lines of the traditional metro, four lines of the above-ground metro and high-speed rail. Additionally, a second entrance gate of the Rizhskaya station of the BKL metro and two elevated pedestrian crossings are planned.
Currently, Rizhskaya station connects the stations of the Big Ring Metro, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line and MCD-2. MCD-3, MCD-4, MCD-5 and high-speed trains are planned to stop here in the future.
In addition to the new station and transfer center, it is planned to create additional parking lots, stops and a turning area for land urban transportation in the station area. The project also includes rebuilding the tram line and updating the adjacent road infrastructure.
Thanks to this project, more than 8.7 thousand new jobs will be created.
