Wildberries began compensating sellers for the cost of replaced goods. The money will be returned to the seller within 30 days from the moment the replacement is discovered. In this case, the product itself will not be returned to the seller, but the market commission will be deducted from the price.
Wildberries has updated the rules for working with product substitutions. Now the market will compensate sellers for their costs, the platform’s press service announced.
Wildberries noted that the market’s own employees will collect information at all stages of product movement. If a substitution is discovered, the seller will be compensated for its cost, effective on the day the substitution was discovered.
In this case, the site commission will be deducted from the final compensation amount and the regular customer discount will not be taken into account. The amount of compensation will be reflected in the report as “compensation for replaced goods.”
“The money will be credited to the balance within 30 days of detecting the substitution. This period is necessary for Wildberries specialists to carry out a thorough investigation,” they clarified in the Wildberries press service.
On October 10, Wildberries introduced a 3% fee for Visa and Mastercard payments. The Attorney General’s Office then decided to check on the site the data on the commissions for paying with these cards and the refunds paid. On October 14, Wildberries canceled the commission.
