Lexus unveiled the concept of the new LF-ZC electric car at the Japanese Mobility Show, which will go on sale in 2026.
LF-ZC stands for Lexus Future Zero-Emission Catalyst.
This is a 4.75-meter hatchback with a drag coefficient of 0.2. For comparison, the latest Tesla Model S has a figure of 0.208.

The windshield of the car is very large and is part of the roof. The rear end is shaped like a Toyota Prius.
Lexus says the LF-ZC will achieve “twice the range” of conventional EVs thanks to next-generation prismatic batteries that will be both lighter and more energy-dense. The car’s range is expected to be about 1,000 km on a single charge.

In the driver’s seat there was a steering wheel instead of a steering wheel, on the sides of which there were two small screens. Behind the helm is another screen and a head-up display. There is also a large touch screen installed on the dashboard, one of its parts is intended for the front passenger.
All displays run Arene OS, which can be updated over-the-air. [The Verge]
