The report found that 61% of iPhone buyers continued to use their previous device for two years or more, while 43% of Android owners did. Additionally, 29% of iPhone users continue to use their previous device for three years or more, compared to only 21% of Android users.

By contrast, only 10% of iPhone owners continue to use their previous device for a year or less, while almost a quarter (21%) of Android owners fall into this category.

Experts say that annual iPhone updates and device longevity play a major role in switching habits, but Android users are more likely to consider upgrading due to the annual launch of many new products from different brands.
