This past launch was the 119th Starlink Internet satellite since 2019 and the 50th this year. During this time, Elon Musk’s company launched more than 5.3 thousand satellites of this type into orbit, some of which failed or left orbit.

Currently, the Starlink global network satellite orbital constellation includes 4,988 devices.

The reusable first stage of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle is used for the seventh time. After launch, it again made a controlled landing on the offshore drone platform.
