Throughout the year, transfers from legal entities to natural persons (b2c) through the Faster Payment System (FPS) increased fivefold. In the third quarter of 2023 they amounted to 77.8 billion rubles, a year earlier – 15.6 billion rubles, Kommersant reports citing published statistics.
Market participants explain that transfers from legal entities to individuals have increased fivefold thanks to the NSPK promotion with cash back for purchases made with SBP, the law on non-cash payment for delivered scrap metal, the growth in the number of workers Freelancers and the popularity of guaranteed transactions on classifieds websites.
In total, in the third quarter of the year, every second resident of the country made transfers through St. Petersburg. The average amount of transfers through the system also increased: it amounted to 5.2 thousand rubles against 4.8 thousand rubles in the second quarter.
