This device, the successor to the Pop 7, offers users a screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, improved cameras, and more RAM and internal memory than the previous model.
The smartphone has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with 720p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera housed in the screen cavity and a dual flash at the top.
Tecno also introduced Dynamic Port technology, which uses the area around the notch to display useful notifications, charging information and call status.
In addition to the 13 MP main camera, there is also an additional AI camera on the back panel. The third cutout is for the LED flash.
Inside the new product is a Unisoc T606 processor paired with 3/4 GB RAM and 64/128 GB internal storage, which can be expanded using the microSD card slot.
The smartphone runs Android 13 (Go edition) and the battery capacity is 5000 mAh with 10 W charging support.
But these are all lyrics. What is even more interesting is the price at which the company offers such a good device. The Tecno Pop 8 will be priced at just $85, which is comparable to the price of modern computers and video games.
