A smart camera is available on Yandex.Market that allows you to find the desired product through a photo, the company said.
Now in the Market you can find products from any category by image. The function will be useful in cases where you need to find your favorite shoes or clothes that a potential buyer saw on the street or in a photo.
To use the option, you need to click on the camera icon in the app’s search bar, take a photo of the product, or upload your image from your smartphone album.
If there is no specific product for sale on the market, the platform will offer the most similar options.
The smart camera seeks various positions in the market using computer vision technology. Thanks to trained neural networks, it distinguishes/ Before launch, the market tested the technology with buyer participation. More than 70% of those who used it at least once continued to do so.
