Demand for digital design services in Russia during the nine months of 2023 increased by 122% compared to the same period last year, according to data from Avito Services. Analysts of this service, together with Price.ru, named the most popular services in this area for marketing, advertising and the e-commerce market.
The demand for design services for online commerce has developed as follows: UX-UI design: growth of 9% annually, graphic designer: 27%, graphic design: 14%, website redesign: 6%, marketplace design – 22%, web designer – 272%, chat design – 59%, preview creation – 37%, Key Visual – 7%, infographics – 34%, video infographics – 22%.
Year after year, brand-related requests are popular: brand book: 39% growth, naming: 14%, branding: 8%, personal brand: 6%. Also popular are product-related services: product presentation (demand increased by 243%), packaging design – by 38%.
Demand for design services for websites and online commerce is also growing: product sheet design (by 65%), landing page design (by 55%), infographics (by 46%).
Analysts also highlight the popularity of motion design. In 2023, compared to last year, online demand for motion design (by 18%), animated banners (by 85%), logo animation (by 64%) and stop motion (by 35 %) is growing.
In 2023, there is also a trend towards growing interest in services related to content design and advertising on social networks: banners for VK (+17%), video creation for YouTube (+10%), avatar creation ( +62%).
The total number of offers of design services in Avito Services is approximately 35 thousand ads throughout the country in the categories “Advertising and printing”, “IT, telecommunications and Internet” and “Art”. For the study, advertisements for training services of various designs were also analyzed: almost 5 thousand advertisements from specialists in the “Training and courses” category.
