The regulator advised all users in the UAE to keep in mind that vulnerabilities in Android, these browsers and Apple platforms iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS could lead to financial and reputational losses in the event of successful hacker attacks.
In this context, the UAE Cyber Security Council urged users to “update their systems and software to mitigate potential threats” and “immediately update their Chrome browser to the latest version to protect themselves from possible threats.”
