75% of Russian small business owners do business alone

Most Russian entrepreneurs in the service sector in small businesses are alone in their business. This was admitted by 75% of respondents who participated in a survey about the Avito Services service.

Less than 10% of survey participants have a friend, acquaintance, or spouse as a business partner. At the same time, 76% of respondents started their own business exclusively with their own funds. 10% used a bank loan to get started, 6% borrowed from friends or family.

Half of the entrepreneurs surveyed cited achieving work-life balance as the success of their business. Furthermore, about half of the respondents considered financial independence as such, while a smaller number of respondents considered it a public recognition.

The survey was conducted in the first half of November among 3,000 businessmen surveyed from all over Russia.
