The portable complex consists of an automatic control module (ACM) for controlling anti-aircraft units and an individual automation kit (IKA) for military personnel equipped with portable anti-aircraft systems or small arms. The upgraded hardware now includes unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capability.
The kit is a laptop or tablet with special software, navigation and wired/wireless communications. It allows simultaneous control of nine artillerymen or four MANPADS teams, coordinating the actions of the gunners. The system can track hundreds of targets, receive information from soldiers via ICA, issue targeting commands and automate the adjustment of artillery positions.
The IAC includes a tablet, goggles with a built-in microdisplay that displays targets, and communications/navigation equipment. It allows the gunner to pre-aim his gun at the target according to the commands received from the unit commander.
