Creators who fail to disclose their use of AI may face penalties, including removal or suspension of content.

Users can now also request removal of AI-generated or altered content, such as deepfakes featuring familiar faces. However, YouTube will consider factors such as parody and the person’s public status when deciding whether to remove them.

Additionally, music partners can request removal of AI-generated music that mimics the artist’s voice.
