In September of this year, it became known about a vulnerability due to which it was possible to spam any iPhone with criminal windows.
The bottom line is that the Flipper Zero device can periodically transmit a connection signal via the Bluetooth Advertisements protocol; to turn on the iPhone, it constantly displays an indicator window with the AirPods connection. If the user closes one window, another will immediately appear. The result is that it is impossible to use an iPhone.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple did not hide this vulnerability even in the latest version of iOS 17.2.
The reason for this may be technical. However, many believe that Apple is not taking the exploit seriously as it does not yet pose a big enough threat to users and/or user privacy. [9to5]
