This will be possible thanks to the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor, which promises to significantly improve the capabilities of mid-range devices.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, the successor to Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, has already attracted the attention of manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo and Motorola. Honor and Vivo also plan to use the new chip, while Samsung will likely stick to its mid-range Exynos chips.

The main emphasis in the new SoC is on artificial intelligence. It promises up to 60% faster AI performance for every watt of energy spent.

This means smoother performance for features like Qualcomm Sensing Hub, which can detect if a user is nearby and respond to voice commands. However, the most remarkable developments are taking place in the field of photography, where artificial intelligence is already actively used for computational photography.

Improved AI promises significantly better autofocus and color management; although this is not loud, it will be noticeable in daily use.

In addition, the new chipset promises advanced 5G and camera features, as well as improved power efficiency, which will have a positive impact on battery life.
