Japan’s Toyota topped the list of the most expensive car brands in the world. Interbrand analysts estimated the brand’s value at $64.5 billion. Toyota is followed in this segment by Mercedes-Benz and BMW, and Apple leads the overall ranking of global brands.
Interbrand analysts recognized Toyota as the most valuable automobile brand in the world. The annual rating is published on the consulting agency’s website.
The value of the Toyota brand is estimated at 64.5 billion dollars, followed by the Japanese company in the automobile segment, Mercedes-Benz (61.4 billion dollars) and BMW (51.1 billion dollars ). Only three named brands from the automotive segment ranked among the top 10 most valuable brands in the world.
Apple topped the overall ranking of the most valuable brands in the world. The company’s brand was valued at $502.6 billion, almost $200 billion more than its closest competitor (Microsoft, $316.6 billion) and 8.5 times more than Toyota.
All the brands in the top 10 of the ranking have increased in price over the past year. For example, the Microsoft brand added 14% to the price, Nike – 7%.
