According to the region’s information policy department, the creation of the cluster will take the region to a new level in the development of medical products and equipment, and will also make a significant contribution to the development of the medical care delivery system.
Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev noted that the new innovative medical cluster will strengthen the country’s technological dominance in the healthcare sector. Key health institutions and organizations in the region will be concentrated within the cluster, ensuring a close connection between education, science and production.
Currently, new buildings of the Ural Research Institute of Maternity and Infancy Protection and the Ural State Medical University, which will also be part of this medical cluster, are being prepared for construction.
