His team plans to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to replace manual controls. A Bloomberg report states that there are 4,000 checkpoints at the main facility and that AI will help save time used by humans.
Known for his work on the Apple Watch and other Apple projects related to sleep tracking and autonomous driving, Khullar joined Northvolt more than a year ago.
It has a team of 18 people and continues to pioneer advances in battery technology.
