The experimental space satellite “SF-D-D”, which belongs to the federal project “with a device from this program entering orbit, has completed all the necessary flight tests.
The current project supports the creation of orbital constellations of special satellites that will engage in remote sensing of the Earth, as well as offer broadband Internet access both in Russia and in foreign satellites. Plans for the implementation of the “Sphere” will include 600 shots.

In today’s tests of the demonstrator satellite, created by specialists of JSC “I SS” named after Reshetnev and domestic equipment installed on board, received a flight qualification mark; satellite control and Internet access do not work. For this reason, the transmission speed is 6.5 Mbps.
Finally, Skif-D flew into orbit on October 20, 2019, after which experts proved the systematic work of labor and training. Operates at an altitude of about 8000 meters.
