Ponomarev noted that the experience of the previous stage showed the need to increase educational security. However, he also emphasized that such problems are the exception, not the rule.

A similar situation occurred in the SIRIUS-21 experiment, which lasted eight months. Changes have been made to the participants and approach to security at SIRIUS-23, which now starts in November 2023, with five Russian and one Belarusian representatives.

This program, which carries out consecutive simulations of flights to the Moon, covers a longer period and focuses on the participation of six people, including Russian and Belarusian scientists.
