Beeline increased the connection speed with Telegram messenger by 500 Gbit/s, reaching a total data throughput of 1.4 Tbit/s. The purpose of this improvement is to ensure more uniform network load and better interaction with the popular messenger.

Data from the operator’s business shows that Telegram remains the fastest growing Internet service in the Beeline network and ranks third in terms of traffic volume among users of this operator. In the third quarter of 2023, Telegram traffic increased by 50%, making it 75% more than its main rival WhatsApp*.

This traffic increase on Telegram exceeds the overall internet traffic increase and even exceeds the traffic increase on other popular services such as YouTube, where the increase was only 15%. Increasing the connection capacity with Telegram enables users to use the service better, especially in the face of increasing content density.
