Samsung S23 and Xiaomi 13 are two of the best compact flagships of 2023. But which one is more profitable to buy?

The build quality of both smartphones is excellent. However, Xiaomi’s back panel is glossy, while Samsung’s is matte.

Galaxy S23 has a 6.1 inch screen, while Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36 inch screen. Matrix, resolution, refresh rate (120 Hz) are the same. Although Xiaomi is brighter on paper, in real life these screens are identical in terms of brightness.

Both smartphones run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. There is no difference between them in terms of performance. Base internal memory capacities are 128GB.

In terms of cameras, the devices are almost the same. In general, Samsung makes photos slightly brighter than they actually are, while Xiaomi’s colors are more natural. Zoom is slightly better on the S23, 3x zoom is better on the Xiaomi 13, but 10x zoom is better on the Samsung. While Samsung, which is more stable than its rival in terms of video recording, can shoot 4K videos with its S23 front camera, Xiaomi can shoot maximum 1080p.

The clear winner in terms of battery life is Xiaomi 13. It lasts for a day and a half, while the S23 lasts for a day. Additionally, Xiaomi supports 67W charging while Samsung supports 25W charging.

Both face and fingerprint unlocking are noticeably faster on Xiaomi than on Samsung.

Both smartphones are amazing. But the presenter is more inclined to S23. This is because it is slightly more affordable for those who want to buy a compact phone with excellent features.
