OnePlus confirmed its intention to launch its first foldable smartphone earlier this year, and it’s finally officially unveiled. The company introduced in India OnePlus Open, its alternative is Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Honor Magic V2, which has a compact design and lighter weight compared to traditional mobile phones, along with a powerful camera as its advantages.
The new OnePlus Open, in particular, is a foldable “book-style” smartphone that displays the screen in a landscape format. It has a design very similar to the rest of the brand’s smartphones, with a distinctive round camera module and the classic green color that debuted with the OnePlus 11.
It also stands out for its flexible hinge, the same one found on the Oppo Find N, which allows the creases in the screen to be barely noticeable. OnePlus also claims that its mobile phone can withstand 1 million folds; about 100 folds per day for 10 years.
