An artificial intelligence company with Russian-Ukrainian roots, Signum.ai, has closed its seed round. Among the participants were RTP Global, AngelsDeck Global Ventures, business angels close to OpenAI, as well as another anonymous international venture fund. Signum.ai founder Artem Gladkikh spoke about the successful closing of the RB.RU round.
Signum.ai is based in New York and develops solutions based on artificial intelligence. The company’s services collect and analyze more than one billion data points in real time and help find insights and ideas in this information. Signum.ai tools analyze data from social networks, media, blogs and forums.
In 2020, the startup raised $500,000 from its key investor Starta Ventures, as well as Next Ventures and an anonymous business angel to develop the platform. The platform was launched in 2023 and revenue during the year of operation amounted to $540 thousand.
In July, Signum.ai became Product Hunt’s Product of the Day.
The startup has a distributed team, employees work from different countries. As the founder of the project, Artem Gladkikh, told Forbes, even before the crisis and the imposition of sanctions, Signum.ai has American investors.
Signum.ai will use the funds raised during the round to scale and strengthen its technological capabilities.
