TikTok is testing uploading 60-minute videos. The feature is available to a limited number of users. In the near future, the developers do not plan to roll it out to everyone, writes TechCrunch.

The purpose of increasing the time is to give video creators the opportunity to experiment with new formats. The company hopes that users who normally upload their content to YouTube will post it on TikTok.

In May, TikTok fully resumed operations in Russia. Users can view and post videos. The social network suspended streaming and introduced a ban on the publication of new videos in Russia in March 2022 due to the law on counterfeiting. The administration of the social network has not officially announced the resumption of TikTok.
