Blogger Ayaz Shabutdinov was charged in 15 criminal cases. The investigation continues to look into a further 25 applications. Initially, the founder of Like Center was accused of committing eight crimes.
Business advisor and founder of the Like Center, Ayaz Shabutdinov, was charged in 15 criminal cases. This was announced in court by an investigator from the Ministry of the Interior, RIA Novosti reports.
All the charges brought refer to the article of the penal code on fraud and were formulated on the basis of statements from the victims.
“The preventive measure was extended in the form of preventive detention for 2 months […] until February 16, 2024,” the court said.
According to the investigator, the investigation of at least 25 materials related to the actions of Shabutdinov and other people continues.
On November 3, a criminal case was opened against Ayaz Shabutdinov and the blogger was arrested the next day. Shabutdinov later said that he considered his arrest “an unhealthy sign for business.”
