The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Russia has increased significantly this year. According to Yota, according to a study based on big data for 2022-2023, the target audience of AI services has increased by 3.5 times, and the mobile traffic of these services has also tripled.
The most popular service in Russia was Yandex’s Masterpiece service, which was launched in April 2023. In second place is Sber’s Kandinsky; both offer the ability to create visual images based on text description. Rounding out the top three is Mubert, which can produce music at the user’s request.
People between the ages of 36-45 use artificial intelligence the most and make up 32% of the total audience. These are followed by the 26-35 age categories (31%) and 46-55 age categories (18%). A noticeable increase in the use of neural networks has been noted among young people aged 14 to 21 – by 2023 their number will increase 11 times. Men use such services more actively and make up 59% of the audience. On average, Russians spend almost an hour per month interacting with AI services.
