Until January -August 2025, BYD sold 8,610 cars in Germany: 5.852 completely electricity and 2,757 hybrid. Leapmotor for the same period, 3,088 electric vehicle and 448 hybrid, including only 3,536 cars recorded.
Stellantis brands in Germany were also lower for comparison. Alfa Romeo 5.226 cars (140 electric vehicles and 34 hybrids), Jeep – 350 electric vehicles and 569 hybrid sold. Even in traditional jeep models, 278 cars are only a small Bypass Byd.
BYD stressed that he did not try to confront, but the numbers speak for them.
