Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla, plans to open a school and university in Texas. This was reported by Bloomberg in reference to the tax returns of The Foundation, a charitable foundation owned by Musk, to which the billionaire made a donation of $100 million to open the establishments.
The foundation will first open a school for elementary, middle and high schools. Education there will be free in the first stage, then scholarships for students will be introduced. The educational process will be developed according to the STEM system with emphasis on the exact and natural sciences.
After school, the Foundation will open a university. At first, training will also be free, theoretical programs at the institution will be combined with solving practical problems: modeling, design activities and others.
