Our colleagues at Tom’s Hardware decided to collect in one material the five worst graphics adapters in the entire history of the company.

GeForce FX 5800 UltraKnown as the “leaf blower”, this card was NVIDIA’s answer to the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro in 2003. Despite its competitive price, its performance was poor, especially at higher resolutions. Additionally, due to its high noise level and power consumption, the FX 5800 Ultra quickly gained a negative reputation.

GeForce GTX 480: Released in 2010, this model was criticized for its excessive power consumption and high temperatures. Despite its power, the GTX 480 suffered from efficiency issues and was quickly replaced by the improved GTX 500 series.

GeForce RTX 2080 and Turing: Introduced in 2018, the line included real-time ray tracing technology but was very expensive and did not offer a significant improvement in performance over the previous generation.

GeForce RTX 4060Ti: Released in 2023, this card was criticized for its lack of memory and high price, especially considering its modest improvements over the previous generation.

GeForce RTX 3080: While this model was well-received at launch, it was listed out of reach of many consumers due to availability issues and high aftermarket price.
