Not only the main characters, but also the secondary characters receive development in this story. Even those for whom we initially do not feel sympathy. And literally all the characters express themselves and transform during the trial.

Literally everything was treated with care here: from history to decor, visual design to sound design.

Unlike previous films, the new one did not have a book basis. Paul King had to create a small plot on his own, only occasionally picking up details from the original. And due to their specific presentation, the authors could use this case.

The story is sometimes bitter, but towards the end it is saturated with a sweet feeling of victory. This unforgettable fireworks, which will keep you engaged until the very end. And, just like in the 2005 film, even the scenery makes you want to taste it. Only the creators approached this project competently.

Of course, you shouldn’t expect any seriousness here. The plot is naive and as simple as possible. But you believe in what is happening, even though at the beginning of the world such actions certainly cannot. All these flying candies with a menthol drink and milk fat based on it – who would think of this if not a real child?

Absurdity thinks in everything, and this provokes. Strange and eccentric characters, grotesque scenery – such elements are only suitable for use in a film.

Of course, there is an embedded satire about bureaucracy and class divisions in the plot. However, the authors do a worse job with it than with entertainment against the backdrop of an airy and completely charming comedy.

“Wonka” is a two-hour immersion into childhood, a world where the latest wonders and villains always lose to the good guys.

Here, any absurd scenes look natural and you are immersed in them literally from the first minutes. And at the same time, you also want to be in this world.

This is a great movie that will suit both adults and children. Jody Talbot’s original soundtracks can sometimes be confusing. In dubbing, songs and musical numbers sound and sound better.
