Rostelecom invested in the Russian developer of an open platform for business tourism automation, Corteos. The company acquired 60%, TASS reports citing Rostelecom President and CFO Sergei Anokhin.

Rostelecom acquires 60% of the promoter of the business tourism platform Corteos

The share was acquired from a private investor, while the founders of the project retained their shares. Corteos Platform is a corporate travel management system that improves communication between travel agencies and their clients.

The company offers its product as a SaaS solution in the cloud and in local format.

According to Anokhin, the agreement is beneficial for Rostelecom from the point of view of effective investments. It will allow us to expand our portfolio of solutions for the corporate segment. The Corteos company was launched in 2012. Today, more than 7.5 thousand business trips are processed daily through the platform.
