The MacRumors resource received the first information from the code of the yet unannounced iOS 18.
The operating system, codenamed “Crystal”, contains references to four unannounced iPhone models. Presumably, we are talking about the iPhone 16. List:
• D47: iPhone 16
• D48: iPhone 16 Plus
• D93: iPhone 16 Pro
• D94: iPhone 16 Pro Max
The resulting lighting system code also indicates that all iPhone 16s will use the new “t8140” SoC, which features Apple’s A18 processor. Interestingly, the chip is mentioned in relation to the base models of the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
