Gas stoves have some advantages over electric ones. Firstly, they cost less (by about 10-20%), and secondly, you can independently regulate the power of the flame in gas stoves (not all electric stoves have this function – mostly only expensive ones). Finally, food cooks much faster because the electric stove first heats the burner and then this heat is transferred to the cookware.

However, the flame on a gas stove is dangerous in itself. It can burn, set things on fire, gas explode, or poison the air. It is much more difficult to regulate the temperature in the oven of such a stove, but in an electric stove this problem is not present. Due to gas, an oily residue accumulates all over the kitchen, which is difficult to wash off.

Another disadvantage of electric stoves is that they cannot be used during a power outage.

It turns out that gas stoves have more advantages than disadvantages. But still everyone chooses the type of stove based on personal preferences.
