Market analysis service MPSTATS bought out its competitor Market Papa. It is the first time that a company has taken over the market. This was reported by representatives of the company to RB.RU.

Market analysis service MPSTATS bought competitor Market Papa

Terms of a transaction:

  • Starting in January 2024, the Market Papa service will cease operations;
  • Market Papa’s current customer base is moving to the MPSTATS service;
  • Market Papa founder Vasily Bumagin will collaborate with MPSTATS.

Sources close to the companies suggested that the transaction amount amounted to more than 50 million rubles.

Market Papa’s revenue in 2023 increased compared to the previous year and amounted to 140 million rubles. The number of clients has tripled.

MPSTATS was founded by Dmitry Cherobayev in 2020. According to the company’s own forecasts, revenue from the service in 2023 will amount to 1.6 billion rubles.
