Russian cosmetics manufacturer Natura Siberica has started supplying its products to Tunisia and Morocco, and plans to include Egypt and Madagascar. In 2024, the company intends to enter the South American market: Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay.

Natura Siberica plans to enter two more new markets

All shipments to new regions go through local distributors and then the cosmetics go to retail and pharmacy chains. The volumes have not been revealed, writes Vedomosti.

Infoline Analytics CEO Mikhail Burmistrov called Africa a promising region in terms of cosmetics supply. According to Infoline Analytics, the total beauty market on the African continent will be worth $7.9 billion in 2023, with a CAGR of 8.79% expected over the next five years. And the South American beauty market is bigger: It’s estimated at $42.9 billion this year, according to Statista.com.

  • Natura Siberica produces cosmetic products under the brands Natura Siberica, Organic Shop, Organic People, Organic Kitchen, Planeta Organica and Granny Agafya’s Recipes. The company’s revenue in 2022 amounted to 10.2 billion rubles.
  • The company was founded in 2008 by businessman Andrei Trubnikov. After his death in January 2021, a corporate conflict broke out in the company: children from different marriages and the businessman’s last wife, Anastasia, argued over the distribution of the inheritance, so production stopped.
  • In early May it became known that AFK Sistema would become the owner of JSC Organic Rus, owner of the Natura Siberica group of companies.
