Microsoft launched the Copilot app for Android yesterday (26). Similar to ChatGPT, Copilot is the software giant’s attempt to bring AI to mass products. iPhone users will still have to wait a bit to enjoy the new feature.

It wasn’t that long ago, two weeks to be more specific, that Microsoft made Copilot available to web users via copilot.microsoft.com.

Microsoft Copilot comes completely free, even using the firepower of OpenAI

As WindowsLatest points out, the new Microsoft Copilot is a new name for Bing Chat that includes significant changes. These include a chat interface for images and a focus on artificial intelligence features with DALL-E 3. More news is expected to arrive over time, with features like upcoming plugins, history and code commenting support.

Speaking of support, Copilot works with GPT Vision, GPT-4 and DALL-E on Android. The tool also noted that MS may make ChatGPT-4 Turbo available to some users in the future.

One of the main differences when it comes to ChatGPT is the price: Microsoft Copilot comes completely free, even while using the firepower of OpenAI.

Finally, WindowsLatest confirms that its sources indicate that the app will arrive to iPhone users soon, but there is no specific date for this.

You can get Copilot in the Google Play Store and on the web at copilot.microsoft.com.
