According to new rumors, the 128 GB version of the smartphone will use the old UFS 3.1 storage technology, while the rest of the series will be equipped with the more modern UFS 4.0.
Thus, UFS 4.0 offers twice the sequential read speed and twice the write speed compared to UFS 3.1, and at the same time consumes 46% less power.
As a result, it provides faster loading times for applications and games, as well as increasing file saving speed and supporting memory-intensive applications.
What this means for the user is that the base Galaxy S24 model may be slightly less powerful than its bigger siblings.
