Scientists have found that exercisers have the most active areas such as gray matter (helps process information), white matter (connects different parts of the brain), and hippocampus (important for memory).
Moreover, it turns out that even just 4,000 steps a day has a positive effect on brain health. And that’s much less than the 10,000 steps experts often cite.
