He followed a link in an online guide and ended up on a phishing site to sign a message in his wallet.

As a result, almost all of the money was withdrawn from the wallet. Lu noted that he was using the famous blockchain resource MetaMask, not the Nest wallet running in test mode.

“Transaction modeling is essential. Nest Wallet has this feature built-in, but MetaMask lacks it entirely. This was totally preventable,” Lou shared with subscribers.
