In the third quarter of 2023, Russian companies made record net profits. Its balanced financial result (profit minus loss) amounted to 11.3 billion rubles.
The RBC publication came to the result of this calculation based on data from Rosstat. Analysts calculated the net profit of Russian commercial organizations without taking into account SMEs, banks, financial organizations and government institutions.
The previous record was the results of the third quarter of 2021, when the company’s profits amounted to 10.1 trillion rubles. The minimum level in recent years was the level of the winter of 2019-2020, equivalent to 1.6 trillion rubles.
At the same time, Russian companies achieved their worst result after the pandemic in mid-2022, making a profit of 3.6 trillion rubles.
