XREAL AR glasses look almost like regular glasses, even with the ability to select diopters. They work like an external monitor, extending or duplicating the screen of a Windows PC or Android phone.
XREAL announced at CES 2024 that it now has the majority of the AR glasses market. To date, the company has shipped 350,000 AR glasses, including the XREAL Air and XREAL Air Pro models.
Microsoft’s issues with HoloLens and the demise of its Windows Mixed Reality platform have left a gap in the consumer AR market, so XREAL is using this opportunity to expand its influence in the industry. But starting at $300, XREAL glasses are much cheaper than Apple’s HoloLens and Vision Pro glasses.
