Rabbit’s first device, the R1, stands out not only with its functionality but also with its Teenage Engineering design. The bright orange square-shaped device has a 2.88-inch touchscreen, analog scroll wheel and a rotating camera.
Control of the R1 is simple and intuitive; To activate Rabbit OS, simply press and hold the Push-to-Talk button. The stylized rabbit head responds to the user’s commands, completing tasks quickly. The R1 handles a wide range of daily tasks, from ordering a taxi to looking up directions.
One of Rabbit’s distinctive features is its innovative Large Motion Model (LAM). Jesse Liu, the company’s founder and CEO, emphasizes that this is key to allowing R1 to perform tasks through interfaces that go beyond traditional APIs and applications.
