Microsoft announces Copilot Pro, paid version of its AI assistant

Microsoft officially announced Copilot Pro, a subscription that offers benefits in artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The package guarantees priority in response time and other benefits.

Unlike Copilot for Microsoft 365 for enterprise, Copilot Pro is intended for the general public. It is cheaper than the enterprise solution but offers fewer unique features along with the wizard.

According to Microsoft, Copilot Pro provides all standard Copilot functionality but speeds up the response process for subscribers. During peak times, paying users will have access to GPT-4 Turbo, OpenAI’s most advanced model, making the experience smoother.

Additionally, the subscription unlocks the assistant in the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneDrive) and improves the quality of images created by Creator from Designer; subscribers also get 100 boosts per day.

Access to Copilot GPT Builder

Copilot Pro subscription also provides access to Copilot GPT Builder. Tool allows you to create a virtual assistant with artificial intelligence to meet specific needs.

According to Microsoft, the creation process only requires “a set of prompts.” However, the feature is not yet available for general use.

Price and availability

Copilot Pro now available worldwide. In the United States, the subscription fee is $20 per month (R$98 in direct conversion).

In Brazil, the package costs R$ 110 per month. According to the company, Copilot Pro can be used by a single person and cannot be shared even if the user is a member of a family group.
