A special feature of this device will be an innovative camera under the screen. According to a report by GSMChina, the device is expected to come in two versions: one with a hidden camera and the other with a regular front camera.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra with a normal camera is codenamed “aurora” and “aurorapro”, and the model with an under-screen camera is called “Xiaomi Suiren”. A device with this name was recently detected in the Geekbench database with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
It is also reported that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be equipped with a 50 MP main sensor with variable aperture (Sony LYT 900 with OIS). It is also expected to include a 50 megapixel telephoto lens, periscope lens and ultra wide angle lens.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra mentions, among other improvements, the possible use of a titanium frame instead of the aluminum used in the 14 Pro.
There are also rumors of two-way satellite communication, and the device may have a 5,180mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
