In October 2023, the parties reached an agreement. Magnit buys a 33.01% stake in Samberi. There will also be an option to purchase the remaining share within a period of five years.

“The first stage of the transaction is expected to close in the summer of 2024. The agreement also provides for the fulfillment of a number of conditions agreed to by the parties,” Magnit said.

Samberi’s current management team will continue to manage the network. Sambury will continue to develop under its own brands.

The Samberi chain has about 300 stores of various formats. The total sales area of ​​the stores exceeds 210 thousand square meters. meter.

In November 2023, Magnit bought the KazanExpress marketplace. The company will launch its own marketplace “Magnit Market” based on it.
