The Cashoff Lab company received a grant of 6.7 million rubles from Skolkovo to “grow” the business, according to the fund’s materials.
The money was reportedly used to improve technology to automate reimbursement calculations. As a result, the process was simplified and the bank’s customer retention rate increased.
According to a press release, only 25% of bank customers are willing to scan checks manually. For convenience, automatic download of a receipt from any store for a banking transaction was provided.
“Cashoff Lab helps banks implement technology to automatically load checks based on matching data from banks and OFD. At the moment there are no analogues to this integration,” said Dmitry Gorkov, founder and CEO of Cashoff Lab, quoted in the press release.
Cashoff Lab’s clients are reported to include more than 50 banks around the world with more than 100 million customers. The company is also developing technology to calculate reimbursement for purchases of products from popular brands globally.
Cashoff Lab is a resident of Skolkovo, the income of Cashoff Lab LLC, according to Kontur.Focus, for 2022 amounted to 19.2 million rubles, Cashoff LLC – 36.6 million rubles. The first legal entity is jointly owned by Dmitry Gorkov and Mikhail Medvedev, the second is owned by TFs Hi-Tech Financial Services Limited (Cyprus, 99%) and Medvedev (1%).
