MacRumors resource reported that testing of iOS 17.4 for beta testers will start this week.

It is not yet known exactly what will be new in this version of the ignition system. However, Apple has until March 6 to allow apps to be downloaded from outside the App Store in Europe. More precisely, in the countries of the European Union (Russia is not included in this list).

In this regard, the leading news is that the company may begin introducing “sideloading,” that is, the ability to install applications downloaded due to the nature of the App Store. But at what exact moment this will happen is unknown. The company can launch the innovation both in one version and in the iOS 17.4 release.

It also became known earlier that Apple proposed to open access to the iPhone’s NFC chip in the EU. But this change will most likely reach users later.
