Avito is testing installment purchases. An RB.RU employee received a notification in the service request about the possibility of making purchases on credit. Users will have access to a limit of up to 50 thousand rubles. The company has not officially announced the new option.
As indicated in the notification, the cost of the goods is divided into several equal parts, the first payment must be made one month after receipt.
From the information in the application it follows that “the partner of Home Credit Bank Home Express will open a limit of up to 50 thousand rubles. You have four months to pay the credit for each purchase. With this payment option, the purchase will cost 10% more; This is charged by the site partner.
To apply for a loan, you must select a pickup point and pay for delivery in advance. Next, you will need to go through passport identification by filling out the site’s partner form. The credit becomes valid after receiving the order at the point of issue. If for any reason the merchandise does not arrive, shipping costs will be refunded.
After receiving the order, the payment schedule will be displayed in your personal account and the “Loan payment” button will appear. After this, return of products through Avito will not be available.
It should be noted that installment payment plans are not available for products with the “14 days to return” icon. Only private sellers can sell on credit. The new payment mode is still being tested and is not available to all users. Avito did not respond to the request at the time of this publication.
