Most Russians consider vacancies in job search services. 35% of applicants are ready to wait for an answer from the employer longer if the proposed salary is 50-100 thousand rubles. This is stated by a study by Zarplata.ru and the Skypro online university of profitable education. RB.RU got acquainted with the results.

A third of Russians are in no hurry to look for a job because they expect a better salary

Russians are also looking for jobs on social networks, with 24% of respondents preferring to write to companies without waiting for vacancies to appear, and every sixth respondent reads job advertisements in public places, as well as in print media.

Russians take a personal approach when looking for a potential employer. For example, 69% choose several priority companies and send them point-by-point resumes. Another 29% respond to 10-30 desired vacancies. One in five bet on the amount and send resumes to the maximum number of companies.

According to analysts, applicants do not always pay attention to the importance of an informative and structured portfolio. Only 36% of respondents when applying for a vacancy attach examples of their work. It’s important for an employer to get a personal resume, but only one in five write motivation letters.

Most applicants react nonchalantly to refusals, another 37% approach responses rationally and try to get feedback. And only 11% relate emotionally to the responses received.
